Former employers

2019 – 2024

AVATR GmbH

Head of UX/UI Design · Research & Development, Design

After nearly a decade working with major automotive brands such as Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, I was ready for a completely new challenge. In 2019, I joined a new startup as Head of User Experience & Interface Design — before it even had a name or a brand, known only as a collaboration between Changan, NIO, and Huawei. Defining a new brand from scratch is no easy task. In just under three years, we took the first vehicle from a blank sheet of paper to the road. It was the most ambitious and aggressive product development timeline I had experienced in my career.

2015 – 2019

Porsche AG

Specialist UX/UI Design · Research & Development, Design

In early 2015, I joined the Porsche R&D Center in Weissach, Germany, as a User Interface & Experience Specialist. A key part of my role was envisioning the next generation of sports cars, including vehicles designed from the ground up as fully electric. As smartphones and connected devices became an integral part of everyday life, integrating them into the vehicle safely and intuitively became equally important. The goal: a seamless connected car experience — fast, convenient, and intelligent. Typically Porsche.

2011 – 2015

Mercedes-Benz

Head of UX/UI Design · Research & Development, Design

From 2011 to 2015, I worked in the UI/UX Design department at Mercedes-Benz, designing user interfaces for the automotive environment. The role demanded close collaboration with application specialists, interaction psychologists, fellow designers, and management to develop thoughtful and effective solutions. Beyond the design team, I worked directly with secondary and tertiary suppliers, navigating challenging project situations and negotiating toward the best possible outcome.
